I ordered this bicycle after about 2 weeks of research looking for an affordable vintage stylish city bike as I live in Uptown Dallas. I liked this bike because it has a coaster brake, hand brake, stylish rack and a 3-speed hub. I ordered this bike through DSG which was kind of a hassle, but they refunded a decent amount of money for my trouble.
When the bike arrived I was a little concerned because the box had opened from damage & the UPS driver said he had to tape it up. Once I got it opened up everything was wrapped up very carefully and there was no damage. This bike was beautiful and was like opening a Christmas present in July.
My only complaints was (1) that I loved the marketing/history, but the bike was made in China & (2) there was a bolt missing that holds the front fender and headlight in place. I was able to get a replacement bolt for $0.06. Everything seems to work fine including both lights. Batteries were included as well. I took the bike out for 5 miles on my first ride in the afternoon city traffic & it handles very well. The 3-speed hub make riding very simple and I was able to get up to 25 mph. The bike it comfortable and fun to ride. My girlfriend was even impressed after I put it together. I wanted a classy bicycle that turned heads & Columbia had one. Thanks Columbia!
